PM Narendra Modi Kicks Off Second Day of Gujarat Visit and Offers Prayers At Adalaj

Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi, on the second day of his two-day tour of his home state Gujarat, he will visit the Annapurna Dham Trust in Gandhinagar s Adalaj. PM laid the Shikshan Bhavan and Vidhyarthi Bhavan’s foundation stone. Also, Narendra Modi will address the gathering there. Afterward, Modi will launch the Pradhan Mantri Sharm Yogi Maan-dhan Yojana or PM-SYM. He will mark the launch of the pension scheme for the Pradhan Mantri Sharm Yogi Maan-dhan, the unorganized sector workers, via the online fund transfer to beneficiaries, at Gujarat’s Vastral.

Narendra Modi also distribute the PM-SYM pension cards to select beneficiaries. The PM-SYM along with the health coverage provided under ‘Ayushman Bharat’ and disability and life coverage provided under ‘Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana’ and ‘Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana’, that will confirm inclusive social security attention for the workers in the unorganized sector at their old age.

After the end of Gujarat tour of the Narendra Modi, he will head to Madhya Pradesh’s Dhar, where he will address a mega-rally of tribal. And this event was scheduled for February 15, but it was postponed in wake of the Pulwama terror attack. Today, Amit Shah, who is BJP chief will also be addressing the launch and inauguration of schemes and booth workers program at Godda in Jharkhand.
